When You Wish Upon a Star…
So when I was about to be a Mommy, for the second time, my new baby girl, Satiah Harlow’s room, like her big sister’s, had to be absolutely perfect. But what to do? What would my theme be? Her room was my old “shoe and dressing room” (I told ya’ll I’m impractical, so yes, I had a whole room for my shoes and purses). But with the impending arrival of my little Pixie, I had to let – it- go. Sigh. So in my head, the “new” room had to be just as magical as the last. And then there it was, like… well… magic. It was going to be an enchanted nursery, with stars and clouds and fairies. So away to plan I went.
I can’t find any before picture of the room – I can’t believe it because I know I had TONS of pictures of it. But I do have one with my little diva playing dress up in front of my shoes. So that’s all you get.

Aria as a babe in the dressing room.

As I purged – sigh – Aria playing more.
Butterflies, and fairies, and rose gold, oh my…
It turned out exactly the way I pictured it. Girly. Enchanted. Cozy. Cute. Luxurious, as far as babies go. There were a few DIY projects thrown in there as well, like the name frame, which I’ll talk about in another post, that made this nesting experience a great labor of love.
But it’s not about me is it? You want to see the room. So without further ado – Here it is!
- Dresser full of way too many clothes… already.
- Dream big dreams.
- A,B,C,E,E,F,G…
- Frills on frocks
- Starlight, starbright.
- S is for Satiah.
- Every girl has to have a first doll.
- No peas under this mattress
- Fairy dreams & wishes
- Satiah Harlow
- Tiny. Little. Details.
- Hugs
- Butterflies darling
- I. Am. Enchanted.
Oh when it was all finished. I couldn’t wait to introduce my littlest princess to the family and to her new room! I am certain she loved it just as much as I did. So cheers to my little and her newly decked out space.

My little Honey Bee.

I think she approves.
